International Institute for Restorative Practices
544 Main Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018
The International Institute for Restorative Practices in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is a unique institution that is geared towards providing restorative solutions in human behavior and the global community.
The philosophy of restorative practices is that people are more motivated to make positive changes in their lives when people in authoritative positions work exclusively with them as opposed to talking down to them.
The institute’s graduate-level academics emphasize how crucial it is to develop strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Currently, the institute offers two master’s of science degrees:
- Restorative Practices and Education
- Restorative Practices and Youth Counseling
Students may also opt to earn a Restorative Practices certificate, which provides an education in the core curricula of both master’s programs.
The institute also offers special events throughout the year, like intensive four-day professional development seminars and how to apply restorative procedures to things anxiety and trauma.
If you’re unfamiliar if the institute is the right fit for you, the school allows you to take up to four classes before you even had to register for admission into a degree program.
Students interested in applying must request more information from IIRP’s admissions department. They’ll provide you with the information concerning enrollment requirements, cost of tuition and availability of financial aid.
