Short-Term At Sanford-Brown, we focus your study into a short-term program enabling you to customize your skills effectively to the specific needs of a future work setting. Unlike some traditional vocational training schools, we enable adults to complete their training programs in as little as nine months. Generally, classes start every five weeks, so you can start your studies quickly with convenient day and evening classes to meet your needs and get you closer to a health-care career.

FOCUSED At Sanford-Brown, your studies focus primarily on the essential concepts and skills most employers look for in entry-level employees in the healthcare field. Our goal is to provide you with the practical career training and experience you need to get your foot in the door. We avoid requiring you to take classes that are not directly supportive of your career objective in the healthcare field.

HANDS-ON Technology plays a major role in the healthcare field for which we train the students at our school. That's why we use industry-current tools used in health-care environments to help deliver your education more effectively. During the hands-on classes you will be trained with equipment used by professionals to gain experience applying your knowledge.

ACCREDITATION/CERTIFICATION INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

Accreditation is a voluntary process which may be undertaken by schools to demonstrate compliance with specific standards designed to indicate a level of education quality. SBI is institutionally accredited (accredited in total) by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), a national accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (DOE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). This indicates that SBI substantially meets or exceeds the stated criteria of education quality established by ACICS, and approved by the DOE and CHEA. This recognition of institutional accreditation by ACICS entitles SBI to offer Title IV Financial Assistance to students who qualify.

An additional form of accreditation that a school may undertake to obtain is a specific, individual accreditation of certain programs (programmatic accreditation). Institutional accreditation is not the same as or a substitution for programmatic accreditation. Although programmatic accreditation is not required for employment in many cases, the existence of programmatic accreditation is a further indication that a program meets the standards of the profession, and may therefore indirectly enhance employment opportunities. Also, in some cases, programmatic accreditation will allow the graduates of the accredited program to sit for some credentialing exams immediately upon graduation without any requirement of work experience.

Sanford-Brown cannot guarantee employment or salary.
