With its full spectrum of professional degree programs and a number of Liberal Arts minors, Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania gives students the chance to combine academics with a practical education.
Art Education, Biotechnology, Computer Engineering, Elementary Education, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Law, Pre-Medicine, and Occupational Therapy are some examples of Shippensburg’s vast array of professional and pre-professional majors.
Liberal arts subjects offered as minors range from Art to French to Theatre Arts to Women’s Studies. A select number of liberal arts subjects are also offered as majors.
For convenience Shippensburg has made the Ceddia Union Building its headquarters for student life. Home to a coffee house, a theatre, stores and lounges, the Union Building is a place where students can go to unwind and also get information about campus activities, events and clubs.
Fairly selective in its admissions process, Shippensburg usually accepts students with above average SAT scores and grades.
