In addition to specialized career training Tennessee Technology Center (TTC) in Athens, Tennessee gives students the preparation to transfer to a four-year school.

At TTC Athens you can train to be a Practical Nurse, Auto Mechanic, Machine Tool Technologist or Pharmacy Technician, among other careers.

As part of the Community College system of Tennessee, Athens’ TTC is both respected and accredited. Consequently, TTC has alliances with numerous professional associations from which students can benefit. These include professional Allied Health, Industrial, Technical and other organizations.

TTC Athens also has transfer agreements with colleges and universities in the state, as well as throughout the country.

In order to make learning more accessible to adult learners, Tennessee Tech provides flexible scheduling, offering evening, daytime and online courses.

Tennessee Tech’s student life, which consists mainly of professional student organizations, provides additional opportunities to strengthen work skills.

Admission to Tennessee Tech requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Students who need help paying for tuition may apply for financial aid. Those who qualify may receive loans, grants, or scholarships, or some combination of these. Veteran’s benefits are also available.
