Description
Do you have a passion for cars? Are you interested in turning that passion into a financially rewarding career? The Universal Technical Institute (UTI) campus in Houston, Texas offers a 51-week Automotive Technology Training certificate program.
As you study to become an Automotive Technician, you will learn how to service, troubleshoot, and repair both domestic and foreign cars. UTI has been offering intense hands-on training for almost 50 years, and continually utilizes state-of-the-art tools and campuses.
Although the Houston campus doesn’t have any residency halls, the school can assist you with locating housing if you give them one or two months’ notice.
Flexible scheduling allows students to work while attending UTI and the school offers lifetime career placement assistance so eligible students may be able to get a head start on their career.
At Universal Technical Institute, both in-state and out-of-state students pay the same tuition rates, easing the cost for out-of-state students. Financial aid is available to qualifying students. Students should complete the FAFSA to see if they are eligible for a scholarship, grant, or loan to help with tuition. There are typically multiple types of scholarships available to eligible students. Financial aid representatives can assist in determining which, if any, you may be eligible for.
