Description
North Florida Community College (NFCC) provides an array of academic services to its local community and current students.
They partnered with businesses and high schools in the area to offer a college preparation program as well as continuing education classes for career professionals. They formed a partnership with Saint Leo University as well to make baccalaureate degree courses available to students on the NFCC campus.
Additionally, they have an Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) program for those looking for fast-paced instruction to become a certified teacher in the State of Florida. NFCC also has a Green Industries Institute offsite to educate students on farming and sustainable agriculture.
NFCC is a wireless internet campus, and they have over a dozen computer labs for student use. They also have one of the most top-notch school libraries in the state with extensive collections and resources. The college provides current students with the ability to take classes on campus or online, and academic advisors are available to help those who need assistance with choosing a degree or planning for a future vocation. Financial aid is an option for qualifying students.
For those searching for a smaller campus in a rural town within driving distance to major cities, North Florida Community College might be the right fit. The college has a more individualized school environment, combined with some of the great features of a larger institution.
