As Barstow, California’s source for two-year education, Barstow Community College offers residents of western San Bernardino County a comprehensive academic experience, complete with supportive services.
At Barstow, students may pursue a vocational degree to prepare them for careers in healthcare, technical careers and other fields.
Associate’s degrees in the liberal, fine and performing arts, humanities and natural and social sciences are also available for those who wish to transfer to a Cal State, UC or private university in or beyond California.
For added accessibility, Barstow also offers many online courses.
During their time at Barstow, students may also get all types of support to help them, both academically and otherwise. Free services include academic advising, transfer planning and career and personal counseling.
Student life options include a performing arts group and cultural, religious and other types of clubs.
Tuition for California residents is reduced and financial aid may also be awarded to eligible students.
An open admissions institution, Barstow will allow any student with a high school diploma or GED to enroll in most of its courses and programs.
