Description
Emily Griffith Opportunity School does, like its name, offer numerous career opportunities for its students and graduates. Located in Denver, Colorado, Emily Griffith has a history of helping students get the training needed for in-demand careers.
Emily Griffith’s four colleges include the College of Business and Technology, where one may get a degree, diploma or certificate in Bookkeeping, Computer Support, Real Estate Brokering, and Wedding Planning, among others.
There is also the College of Design Industries, which offers Cosmetology, Fashion Design and related disciplines. The School of Health Sciences is where students may earn a degree or certificate in in-demand fields such as Medical Assisting and Practical Nursing. There is also a College of Trade and Industries.
A unique feature of an Emily Griffith education is the apprenticeship program. Offered in a dozen different fields of study, apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with classroom study.
Since Emily Griffith students don’t need high school transcripts or SAT/ACT scores to enroll, students who have left high school may start in on their career path at Emily Griffith. Not only that, but Emily Griffith actually has a track record of helping hundreds of high school dropouts to graduate each year.
Since some programs have an “open admissions” policy, you don’t have to wait for another semester to start, but rather can start right away.
Career and academic advising and assessment, job-placement-assistance, financial aid (if eligible) and tutoring are some of the services Emily Griffith offers to insure optimum success for its students.
