NUHS Description
Future medical students who are interested in an alternative approach to medicine would find National University’s Health Sciences program a highly appealing prospect.
Located in Lombard, Illinois, National University educates and trains its students to become Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, and Naturopathic Physicians.
In addition to these doctoral programs, National University grants several associate’s degrees and a bachelor’s degree.
Combining studies of traditionally Western medicine and medical approaches from the East makes National’s program a uniquely blended one.
As alternative medical practitioners, students will also learn how to evaluate patients holistically, considering not only the physical, but all aspects of their lives such as nutrition, stress levels and relationships.
Students at National spend a year working in a clinical facility giving them experience with patients and in medical settings.
Admission is rolling so that students may apply anytime. To gain entry into the program you must have certain course prerequisites.
Financial aid is also available to qualifying students.
