Lawrence County Vocational Technical School Practical Nursing Program

The Practical Nursing Program encourages a mix of team work, class work, independent study and lecture in order to enhance the learning experience of each of the students.

The Practical Nursing Program is a full time course, approximately one year in length. Classes run Monday through Friday. Class times vary beginning at 8:00 am - 3:30 pm for theory courses and 7:00 am to 3:30 pm for clinical courses. Upon successful completion of all requirements, students earn a diploma from the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center Practical Nursing Program, and are able to take the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Licensure Exam for Practical Nursing.
