Equipping committed, qualified Christian leaders for the new millennium is what Shasta Bible College is all about. It is imperative that today’s students not only know and internalize the precepts of God's Word, they must also understand how to interpret Scripture and apply it to life and ministry. That's why SBC continues to maintain its strong emphasis on inductive Bible Study, hermeneutics (Bible Interpretation), Biblical languages, evangelism, apologetics, homiletics (preaching and teaching) and theology in its program leading to the B.A. in Bible and Theology. In addition to the general education classes required to complete this program, practical ministry emphases are offered in pastoral ministry, Biblical studies, Biblical languages, Biblical counseling, youth ministry, church music ministry, missions and Christian teacher education.
