Description

The Lee County High Tech Center in Cape Coral, Florida, aims to prepare students for the workforce by providing a high-quality technical education delivered by an experienced, professional faculty.

Academics include a variety of career training programs in fields like Business Supervision and Management, Culinary Arts and Commercial Foods, Electronic Systems Assembly and Web Development.

To make learning opportunities flexible, the school offers night school courses in health sciences, business technology, service and technology fields.

Admissions do not require students to have graduated from high school or earned a GED unless you are applying for a health sciences program. The school even allows students to work towards a GED through the campus Learning Center while taking classes in either the business or technology fields.

The school’s counselor works closely with local agencies to make sure social services are available to students who may need them.

Tuition is free to Lee County School District High School students.

The tech center is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Council on Occupational Education. This makes it possible for the school to offer financial aid through the forms of federal Pell grants, Florida state tuition assistance programs, scholarships and work experience programs. To be considered for aid, students must file a FAFSA.
