831 Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Description
Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs, Colorado is surrounded by wildlife, which doesn’t only make for naturally beautiful scenery, but also provides an appropriate environment in which to pursue its associate’s degrees in Outdoor Education and Outdoor Recreation Leadership.
Colorado Mountain College also offers associate’s degrees in Biology, Chemistry, Early Childhood Education, Engineering and Visual Arts.
Since the school has transfer agreements with all of Colorado’s four-year universities and colleges, many students choose to transfer. A decent number of students also transfer to out-of-state schools.
Another unique thing about this school is that students may now actually make Colorado Mountain College itself their four-year destination. Colorado Mountain College now offers bachelor’s degrees as well, one in Business Administration and one in Sustainability.
In addition to all of the outdoor activities available on and around the Colorado Mountain College campus, there are also student life offerings in the arts, such as art exhibits and theatre performances.
Students interested in applying must submit an application and transcripts and will either need to submit test scores or take a Colorado Mountain College placement test.
Students may also apply for financial aid, which is available to those who qualify in a variety of forms.
