The Michigan Career and Technical Institute in Plainwell, Michigan, offers vocational and technical training programs and provides services to prepare Michigan residents with disabilities for gainful and competitive employment.
Students seeking professional and leadership experience may participate in the student government. The school offers many career preparation programs, which help students in building resumes, writing cover letters, practice interviews and even travel to their job interviews.
Student life is full of recreational and leisure activities. Students may take part in indoor and outdoor activities like archery, canoeing, hiking and writing music. The Leisure Service also takes students to community events, including festivals, parades, cultural activities and sports games.
