Description
If barbering and styling has always been a career path you have been interested in and you reside in the Miamisburg, Ohio area, then Dayton Barber College should be on your list.
In just two years of hard work, you can earn a certificate and gain the skills and knowledge to have a successful barbering career. Graduates of DBC will have the ability to pass the state licensure exam.
Students of Dayton will have access to the best facilities, such as a clinic, practical lab, classroom, and office. The barber workstations will be available for students to practice in class on live clients. Around 36 students are admitted each year, so class sizes are small. That will help ensure that students get the personal attention from their instructors that they need to succeed.
Dayton students train to become a licensed stylist or barber, barber shop owner, or manager. The traditional program lasts 1800 hours with classes like theoretical study, scientific barbering practice, and general barber practice. There is also a program for those who already have a license but want to hone or polish their skills.
Students who want financial aid can apply for the FAFSA to earn loans, grants, and work-study programs, if they meet qualifications.
