Description
The Advanced Tech College in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, with facilities in Calle Barbosa, provides students with the technical and vocational skills they need for a future career. All courses are taught in the Spanish language.
Academics at the Advanced Tech College include undergraduate degrees in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services as well as Health Professions and Related Clinical Services.
Also available are certifications in:
*Accounting and Computer Science
*Data Processing and Data Processing Technology
*Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant
*Medical Secretary
Programs in both Accounting and Computer Science and Data Entry/Microcomputer Applications may be completed in as little as 12 months with 1,000 contact hours. Other certifications awarded take at least one academic year to complete, but often less than two years.
Class sizes at the college are small, allowing instructors to provide students with the individual attention they’ll need for hands-on technical training.
The admissions policy at the college is open and continuous. On-campus housing is available, although it is not required.
Additional student services at the Advanced Tech College include placement services for graduates.
Financial aid is available for eligible students. Students may receive assistance through federal grants and state/local grants.
