Description
At John Jay Kenner Academy, also known as John Jay Beauty Academy, students learn many techniques and methods so that they may select and combine them to make their own individualized style and technique.
Located in Kenner, Louisiana, Jon Jay Kenner offers students the benefit of founder John Jay’s world travels, which have resulted in a curriculum that includes a range of cross-cultural techniques and styles.
The John Jay Cosmetology program also emphasizes hair-coloring techniques, giving students an added specialization, which adds to their skills and marketability.
In addition to its concentration in Cosmetology, John Jay offers programs in Esthetics and Manicuring.
Students from all three programs get hands-on hair, skin-care and nail-care experience at the school’s public salon.
Additional programs in Cosmetology Education and Advanced Cosmetology are also offered for working cosmetologists or advanced students.
To help students pay for tuition, John Jay accepts Pell grants from those who are eligible.
