Description
Residents of Indiana’s Cass, Fulton, Howard, Miami, Tipton and Wabash Counties may benefit from the primarily professional degree programs at Ivy Tech Community College’s Kokomo campus.
With a particular emphasis on training students for in-demand careers, the Kokomo campus of Ivy Tech grants associate’s degrees in such areas as Accounting, Business Administration, Medical Assisting and Paralegal Studies.
Since Kokomo has transfer agreements with public and private universities and four-year colleges throughout the state, students who wish to transfer also have that option. While transfer students often enroll in Kokomo’s Liberal Studies program, they may transfer from other programs as well.
Student life at Ivy helps students to develop leadership abilities and other skills. Some examples of such student life opportunities include a student government association, a student leadership organization and membership in an honors society. Extracurricular activities are also available.
Admission requirements include completion of an application, a placement test and attendance at a student orientation session.
Financial aid is awarded through grants and loans to assist eligible students with tuition costs.
