Description

The Regency Beauty Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina, provides students with the education, experience, and skills for launching a career in cosmetology. The institute emphasizes the importance of understanding individual creativity as well as encouraging it.

The institute equips students with the skills and credentials to perform any facet of nail, hair, or skin care. Regency’s program consists of a combination of classroom workshop, rehearsal, and performance.

For the first 300+ hours, you’ll complete classroom work and practice on mannequins or willing friends and family. Then you’ll rotate weekly between performance on the salon floor and in the classroom for continued training and skill cultivation, using your experiences to learn advanced theory while having opportunities to apply it firsthand.

At Regency you also partake in the STAR program, which rewards you for doing career-oriented things like retailing and requesting guests. The institute is also part of a national job placement program called Beautyjobs.

Financial aid, through grants and loans, is available to those who qualify.
