ESU Description

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is a mere two miles from the New Jersey border, 70 miles from New York City, and 90 miles from Philadelphia.

With eight residence halls and a 1,000-seat dining hall located on campus, students will have plenty of opportunities to meet new people and make the most of college life. If you enjoy camping and outdoor activities, then you can take full advantage of Stony Acres, and off-campus campgrounds that include a lodge, cabins, a lake and a campsite.

ESU works to combine academics with real world experience in order to help students become not only knowledgeable, but also desirable to employers and graduate schools. Students are encouraged to learn as much about their prospective careers as possible, so ESU strongly encourages students to participate in internships, field studies and community service projects.

If you are interested in studying abroad, ESU has shared programs with the International Student Exchange Program, which offers more than 150 destinations for students to choose from.

To help cover the cost of tuition, ESU has several scholarships and financial aid options available to eligible students. While many are based solely on academic merit, a student’s major, athletic ability, geographic area and teacher recommendations can all play a role in eligibility for financial aid.

Detailed Ratings

We have always been excited of hearing how the school has a great education program as both of our children went there for teaching , one has graduated and one in the sophomore year. Knowing someone in the computer tech helps to get around programming issues and going to church with the head of the education program, Pam Kramer Ertel . The new. Apts just built make the campus look very updated and organized.
