Description

Laurel University is located in High Point, North Carolina, and was founded in the Christian tradition. Originally named John Wesley College, Laurel recently changed its name as it adds several international programs and graduate degrees.

Associate’s and bachelor’s degrees can be earned in several traditional disciplines as well as various concentrations in the Ministry discipline. Students can earn degrees in Theology, Christian Ministries, Christian Counseling, and several others.

Graduate degrees are being added to the university’s catalogue, including several master’s degrees in Ministry and a doctorate in Divinity.

Student life activities are an important way for students to stay engaged on campus and in their studies. Students are encouraged to get involved in student organizations and campus ministry groups.

Student support services are available to help students succeed in their academic and spiritual endeavors. Academic workshops, counseling, and career and academic advising services are open to all students.

Laurel is now affiliated with Universidad FLET, which is an international school located throughout almost 30 countries in Latin America. Students are encouraged to explore Laurel’s new extension by studying abroad at the various campuses.
