Question: Mountain State University?

I am considering Mountain State University as an option to attend to for ultrasound. Is MSU a good college? And when i graduate will I be just as likely to find a job as other college graduates?

Best Answer

They aren't Harvard (or even WVU) but they aren't the bottom of the pile either. It will be just as useful as a degree from any other regionally accredited university that nobody has heard of. US News ranks them as tier 4 in the master's south category. They have a certificate, associates, and bachelor's in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. You will want to make sure that whichever program you pick that you are qualified to take the ARDMS exams afterward. In the health professions, the professional license/certification is far more important in finding a job than is where you went to school.

Question: Does anyone know how good the on-line program @ Mountain State University is?

I am planning on taking their on-classes for an Accounting degree, and I was wondering how creditable thier on-line classes are? Thanks in advance!
