The Oregon Coast Community College in South Beach, Oregon, offers programs for owners of small businesses, specialized career training and an associate’s degree for transfer to a four-year university.
Student life at Oregon Coast is both educationally and personally fulfilling. Many students have created and joined groups like the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, Associated Student Government, Psychology Club and more. You can also submit to the Waves Student Literary Journal.
The school specializes in training programs that are in high demand in Oregon, like the associate’s degree in Aquarium Science. Other regional academics are in medical and trade fields like Nursing and Retail Management.
For students who own a small business, the college has a Small Business Management program designed to help owners expand their already-established business. Components of the program include daylong seminars, personal coaching and specialized classes.
