College Advice

Yahoo
Most of the careers that have caught my attention as of late have been in the industry of computer science. Whether I decide to go on to Computer Graphics or Software Engineering is something I will soon have to decide. I am currently a softmore in High School and will very soon be a junior. I have been told that my school offers a "Jump Start" program, in which the student skips his/her senior year, and goes to CCRI (Community College of Rhode Island) for two years and then can transfer the a school of their choice. I guess I have a few questions I would like to be answered here. For one, would going to Community College be beneficial to me if I were to pursue a Computer Science career. Second, how do Community Colleges compare to 4 Year Colleges/Universities. I guess my main concern is if going to Community College will benefit my pursuit of a Computer Science career. Could the additional education of a Community College hurt? Thanks in advance for any help!
