Description

Located in Zanesville, Ohio, the Adult Center for Education, associated with Mid-East Career and Technology Centers, is offered to provide four counties with vocational training programs for both high school juniors and seniors, as well as adult students who wish to get ahead in the job market.

Programs of study vary by full-time, part-time, short-term, customized training, and online courses. Full-time students at the Zanesville campus often spend up to three hours a day in lab or hands-on training in their field of study.

Programs include Auto Technology, Paramedic Training, Practical Nursing, Heating and Air Conditioning, Pharmacy Technician, Firefighting, various computer courses, and much more. Students receive a certificate of completion upon graduation, and are ready to join the workforce.

Students are encouraged to take advantage of the various career services offered by the Adult Center for Education, including resume development, career advising, and interview techniques.

The programs provide quality education for the residents of the Mid-East counties. Professionals and beginners alike can be confident that the Adult Center for Education will teach them valuable skills for their future endeavors.
