A career in cosmetology awaits you at the Shear Ego International School of Hair Design in Rochester, New York. The innovative training program offers a year of shadowing of established stylists, allowing for one-on-one training in advanced techniques and customer service. Men and women can learn Hair Dressing, Esthetics, Nail Technology or Barbering and get the training to help them pass the State Board Exam and launch them into the competitive industry.
Classes are offered in Esthetics, Skin Care and Makeup over an 18-week program. Hairdressing and Cosmetology is a 30-week program, Barbering is an 18-week program and the Nail Specialty program can be completed in as few as eight weeks.

They strive to provide the students with the most advanced hair practices from around the world while running a very successful Salon and Spa, where students can practice their techniques.
