Description

Honolulu Community College, a fully accredited institution, is a great place for both transfer students who plan on moving on to a four-year school and students looking for an associate’s degree to start their career. HCC has a transfer program with the University of Hawaii, helping students prepare for their bachelor’s degree.

Honolulu Community College offers associate’s degrees in arts, science, applied science, and technical studies. In addition, the school also offers courses for other certificates and competencies.

HCC takes distance learning a step above most other community colleges. In addition to having online courses available, students who subscribe to cable can watch lectures on their television. This is a great resource for auditory and visual learners.

Is there any better place to enjoy college life than beautiful Honolulu? There are over a dozen student clubs available to participate in and the student life and development department is always seeking new co-curricular opportunities for HCC students.

The school has a friendly admissions process. Interested students should complete the FAFSA to determine if they’re eligible for financial aid and then submit an application for enrollment. An admissions representative will help with the rest of the process.

Hawaii residents receive a discount on tuition, and fall and spring classes receive a significant discount over the summer programs.
