The Tri-County Adult Career Center in Nelsonville, Ohio, prepares students for immediate employment and career advancement through programs designed for workforce development and local economic growth.
Academics at Tri-Country include more than 17 different programs designed for high school juniors and seniors in fields like business, cosmetology, information technology, health occupations and more.
The goal of these programs is to prepare students for immediate employment or for continuing their education. Successful completion of most training programs will earn you a certification or form of licensure.
The school also offers unique four-year college Tech Preparation programs that include two years of high school and two years of college. Depending on the program of study, students may complete training on campus or in a local business site.
Programs are flexible, allowing students to choose from traditional daytime and evening classes.
Students interested in applying must contact an admissions representative from the school.
To be considered for financial aid, you’ll first need to set up an appointment with a financial aid supervisor, go over your previous year’s tax return and complete a FAFSA application. Financial aid resources include Pell grants, the Community Action Agency, the Department of Job and Family Services and more. Tuition payment plans are also available to coordinate convenient payments.
