UNCC Description
University of North Carolina at Charlotte is a North Carolina public research university offering over 90 bachelor's degree programs, approximately 20 doctoral programs and over 80 graduate programs. The University is located two hours from the mountains and three from the Atlantic Ocean.
UNCC does not have rolling admissions, so students need to have their online application, application fee, official high school transcript and test scores submitted before deadline, otherwise they will only be considered on a space-available basis.
UNCC has several financial aid options, including student employment, scholarships and grants. Students are strongly encouraged to complete their FAFSA as soon as possible in order to determine for which financial aid they qualify.
Students can look forward to an enriching college life. Between campus events, like paintball trips, karaoke nights and battle of the bands, students will have plenty of opportunities to immerse themselves in school activities.
UNCC has over 300 student organizations, including those linked to student government. For students looking for faith-based organizations, UNCC offers Religious & Spiritual Life (RSL), which is an extension of the Multicultural Resource Center.
RSL provides students an opportunity to meet individuals with similar beliefs; between their multitude of religious based organizations, from Orthodox Christian Fellowship to Muslim Students' Association and the Interfaith Alliance, students will be able to find like-minded peers.
