Students are offered extensive transfer advising to encourage the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree at a four-year university. Spartanburg has secured various transfer agreements with 25 four-year universities to help students make an easy transition.

Though Spartanburg is only a two-year institution, student life activities dominate the campus culture. Most students are involved in student organizations, campus ministry groups, or athletic teams.

Student support services are considered a vital resource to help students achieve their academic and spiritual goals. Students are encouraged to take advantage of academic workshops, counseling services, spiritual mentoring, transfer guidance, and career advising.

Tuition is the same for in-state and out-of-state students. Tuition costs do not include room and board, should students wish to choose to live on campus. Financial aid advising is available for those interested in applying for aid.

Spartanburg Methodist College is proud to promote a solid academic background for every student, and hopes to see its graduating class move forward to a four-year institution.
