Sinte Gleska University School Description

Today, in the 21st century, Sinte Gleska University remains committed to its earliest purposes: to preserve and teach Lakota culture, history and language to promote innovative and effective strategies to address the myriad of social and economic concerns confronting the Sicangu Lakota Oyate. In recent years we have witnessed a tremendous growth in terms of facilities, academic program development and projects that respond to the immediate and long-range needs of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Sinte Gleska University is confident that our institutional mission and vision will continue to lead our work efforts in the future.
