HSUTX Description

Located in Abilene, Texas, Hardin-Simmons University was founded in the Baptist tradition and is committed to fostering the curiosity and spirituality of its students. Students can be confident they are receiving quality academic instruction, whether it be in pursuit of a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree.

Bachelor’s degrees are offered in almost every traditional discipline, including concentrations in Theology. Graduate degrees can be earned in twenty concentrations, including Master of Education, Master of Divinity, Doctor of Ministry, and Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Though Hardin-Simmons focuses primarily on academics, student life and campus activities dominate the university. Student organizations, Greek societies, student ministries, athletic teams, resident life and intramural sports are offered to provide an enriched college experience.

Student support services, such as academic and career advising, personal counseling, and financial aid advising, help students navigate through their college years.
