Description

Does a life designing high fashion call to you? Whatever your career goals are, if it involves design, fashion, art or communications, consider enrolling at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City.

Located in one of the fashion capitals of the world, FIT offers degrees in over 30 fields that lead to associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

FIT is a highly selective college that is part of the SUNY network of schools. It offers a faculty that has worked in and understands the business. The study abroad programs in Milan, London, Hong Kong and Paris provide students with the opportunity to learn the industry from the inside.

One of the unique parts of the program is that students are able to start in their major classes right away. This means that you can dive into your passion immediately instead of wasting time on courses that don’t interest you.

Because FIT receives state and federal funding, to help lower their tuition costs. However, students who cannot afford the cost of tuition may be eligible for federal, state or private financial aid.
