Located in beautiful Denver, Colorado, the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology is one of the largest veterinary technician schools in the U.S. that offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology.

Upon completion of 125 credit hours of curriculum requirements, Bel-Rea Institute students receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. Most Bel-Rea students complete the program in 24 months, although some can complete it in less if their prior college credit can be applied. Federal Financial Aid allows up to 36 months to complete the program.
At Animal Reproductive Technologies, students have the opportunity to learn routine health care, general farm practices and restraint as part of their large animal training.
At Kenlyn Arabians, students perform routine health care on the farm's horses. This hands-on experience allows students to view live births, observe breeding procedures and learn about the overall equine industry from a real-life perspective.
