Description
Anyone who is at least 16 years old and is interested in becoming a stylist or beauty care professional can get well-rounded, hands-on training at Cobb Beauty College in Kennesaw, Georgia. Students at Cobb Beauty also get the opportunity to meet and learn from outside salon and beauty professionals. Cobb’s Cosmetology program trains all students in hairstyling, skincare and nail care.
Students may attend on a part-time or full-time basis. Depending on which option one chooses, the program can take anywhere from ten months to a year and a half to complete.
In addition to getting the opportunity to practice styling, skin and nail care skills at Cobb’s public beauty salon, students also get to meet and hear from guest lecturers and salon professionals.
Those interested in attending must be at least 16 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Prospective students must submit an application with high school transcripts.
Financial aid is awarded through Pell grants and loans.
