Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, Johnson University has recently changed its name from Johnson Bible College. Founded in the Christian tradition, the school hopes to maintain the mission of preparing Christians to take leadership roles in their communities.
At Johnson University, all academics are Bible-based. Every student seeking a bachelor’s degree is required to major in Biblical studies, and has the option to choose a second major or minor. Other concentrations include church Leadership, Children’s Ministry, Music and worship Ministry, Counseling, Mission and Intercultural Studies, and so forth.
Master’s programs can be earned in the following concentrations: • New Testament Studies • Education Technology • Holistic Education • Teacher Education • Marriage and Family Therapy
Campus activities, residential life, and campus ministries provide an active student life. Students are encouraged to take advantage of student organizations, the fitness center, athletic teams, and community service opportunities to enrich their college experience.
