Johnson University promotes the intellectual and spiritual growth of every student by offering a committed faculty, welcoming staff, and vibrant student life. Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, Johnson University has recently changed its name from Johnson Bible College. Founded in the Christian tradition, the school hopes to maintain the mission of preparing Christians to take leadership roles in their communities.

At Johnson University, all academics are Bible-based. Every student seeking a bachelor’s degree is required to major in Biblical studies, and has the option to choose a second major or minor. Other concentrations include church Leadership, Children’s Ministry, Music and worship Ministry, Counseling, Mission and Intercultural Studies, and so forth.

Master’s programs can be earned in the following concentrations: • New Testament Studies • Education Technology • Holistic Education • Teacher Education • Marriage and Family Therapy

Campus activities, residential life, and campus ministries provide an active student life. Students are encouraged to take advantage of student organizations, the fitness center, athletic teams, and community service opportunities to enrich their college experience.

Johnson University provides a health center, counseling services, financial aid advising, and career guidance to all students who need help navigating their college years.

The school campus is absolutely beautiful, the students are friendly, and all of the staff are helpful. The dorms are nice, and pretty good dining services. Overall the school is just a wonderful place to be.
