FPU as it will soon be called is quickly becoming a great school. The campus is beautifully set on a hillside overlooking a pond that has a picturesque boat house for the crew teams. The sports are top notch in division 2 and are very competitive. The teacher student ratio is small and classes are small and so is the town it resides in. This is not your typical city school and you will have time to enjoy life b/4 you head out to the real one back home in cali. There are other cali students here and kids from all over the world are represented. I am not so sure this is considered a tech (teacher?) school as they offer just about everything now that they are a university. I personally went to this school and it stands out among the others in my mind but obviously i am biased b/c i went there. Whatever you chose i am sure you will like but wanted to give you my 2 cents on it. If your going to live in cali the rest of your life why not experience a new part of the country for a bit. Good Luck!
