To provide students with the knowledge and skills to enable them to become expert practitioners in their fields. To provide the knowledge and skills to enhance the health, wellness and quality of life in the larger community, and to develop educational materials to achieve that same purpose. To provide clinical and pharmacological services to the community as a complement to the programs of professional education. To provide services and products to the community that complement the programs offered by the College. To develop and implement research strategies to test the effectiveness of health care, wellness and quality of life interventions.

New York College of Health Professions, chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, is one of the leading colleges of Holistic medicine in the US. The College offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a Continuing Education Certificate program in Holistic Nursing for RNs. New York College has national institutional accreditation and all programs are registered by the New York State Education Department. The Syosset, Long Island campus houses the largest holistic clinics and Herbal Dispensary in the area. Massage Therapy, Acupuncture and Chiropractic treatments as well as Herbal consulations are available to the public at reasonable cost.
