Northern Oklahoma College (NOC) is a community college that offers the academic and student life opportunities of a four-year school.
Located in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, NOC has several additional campuses throughout the area.
Tonkawa’s associate’s degrees prepare students for transfer to a four-year degree program. Areas of study include:
- Agricultural and Life Sciences
- Fine Arts
- Language Arts
- Math and Engineering
- Social Sciences
NOC also offers an associate’s degree in Registered Nursing.
NOC is home to more than 45 student clubs and organizations, which include religious, cultural, artistic and honorary groups.
To gain admission to NOC applicants must submit an application, their transcript or a copy of their GED and ACT scores.
NOC students may obtain need-based financial aid from a variety of sources, including federal and state grants, federal loans and work-study. NOC also offers tuition assistance through such programs and organizations as The Bureau of Indian Affairs and Vocational Rehabilitation. Students may also obtain additional short-term loans to pay for books and other fees.
