CCU Description

Colorado Christian University (CCU) offers a diverse spectrum of degree programs, all taught with an unwavering commitment to the Bible and the Christian perspective.

Located in scenic Lakewood, CCU offers associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degrees as well as certificates. While there are several degrees offered in Biblical or ministerial studies, many of CCU’s programs are in professional fields like nursing, teaching, business administration and accounting.

However, all of CCU’s classes are taught from a Christian perspective, helping students to examine their subject area through the lens of Biblical teachings and instilling such ideals as sanctity of life, compassion and traditional family values.

The career services department at CCU is comprehensive and offers traditional resources such as access to internships and career fairs, assistance with resumes, interviewing techniques and career assessments.

However, CCU goes a step further to incorporate a Biblical perspective into the career development process. Counselors assist students not only with developing job skills and with the employment search, but with searching for employment which will, as they say, “glorify God.”

Mission trips, ministries, regular attendance at chapel services and Bible study groups are an integral part of the CCU experience as well. Many such outings and events are also conducted within the context of residence life, as students engage in many such activities with fellow dorm residents.

Financial aid is available to eligible students mostly through loans, grants, work-study and scholarships.
