Center for Employment Training (CET) in Alexandria, Virginia, offers career training opportunities to low-income individuals. All of CET’s programs are flexible and self-paced.
CET students are those facing poverty, unemployment and even homelessness. At CET, they have the chance to train for such careers as:
- Building Maintenance
- Business Office Technology
- Medical Billing and Coding
CET’s learning structure is unique in that students move through each class at their own pace.
In addition to professional skills, students learn life skills and workplace behavior. They also receive counseling and support throughout their training. CET also provides job-placement assistance for its graduating students.
Admissions requires that applicants certain income requirements and must be at least 18 years of age.
CET keeps its fees as low as possible. Those who still require financial assistance may contact a CET representative about financial aid options.
