In addition to a wide range of academic offerings, Alan Hancock College in Santa Maria, California offers an innovative program for minority students who wish to earn a bachelor’s degree in the sciences.
Serving the Central Coast of California, Alan Hancock grants associate’s degrees in everything from Business to Film to Dental Assisting to Environmental Studies.
The Bridge Program at Alan Hancock is probably one of its most attractive. Providing additional support and assistance to minorities, the Bridge program helps students majoring in the sciences to transfer to California Polytechnic Institute.
Students who are not in the Bridge Program may still receive help with transferring, as Alan Hancock hosts college and university fairs and guides students in the transfer process.
