Description

The Idabel, Oklahoma campus of Kiamichi Technology Center offers vocational training for adults as well as high school students interested in healthcare, technical, industrial and service professions.

Kiamichi has campuses throughout Oklahoma. At the Idabel campus programs are divided up into those offered exclusively for adults, exclusively for high school students, and for both. Adult-only programs include Practical Nursing and Emergency Medical Technology.

Majors designated for both high school and adult students include:

*Business Information Technology
*Cosmetology
*Culinary Arts
*Welding

To accommodate the adult students, Kiamichi offers classes in the evening and on both a part-time and full-time basis.

Student services for all students include academic advising, counseling and job-placement services.

Kiamichi offers financial aid to eligible students through federal loans, grants and work-study programs as well as institutional scholarships. Eligibility for federal aid programs is based primarily on one’s income and assets and ability to afford Kiamichi’s tuition. Veteran’s benefits are also available.
