The award-winning L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithesburg, Maryland, offers a highly respected professional culinary training program as well as cooking courses for hobbyists and those looking to gain more culinary knowledge.

The professional culinary arts program at L’Academie provides rigorous training for the future chef, as well as externship assignments, many of which lead to full-time work after graduation.

Many graduates of L’Academie’s professional program have gone on to become award-winning chefs, and the program itself has received many accolades from such organizations as the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP).

In addition to the professional program, L’Academie offers classes in recreational cooking, as well as courses through its continuing education division in such areas as beginning culinary arts and pastry-making.

Financial assistance is offered through loans and tuition payment plans, both of which may be discussed with a L’Academie financial aid officer.

Continuing education and recreational courses do not have any application requirements and anyone may enroll.
