MCCKC Description

Located in Lees Summit, Missouri, Metropolitan Community College’s Longview campus offers, among other things, one of the most respected Automotive Technology programs in the nation.

In addition, MCCKC Longview has majors in such areas as Teacher Education, Criminal Justice, Engineering, Human Services and Criminal Justice.

While students in the automotive program and certain other programs can move directly into a solid career, many students choose instead to transfer to a four-year university.

Career, college and university fairs, as well as academic advising and counseling, assist students regardless of their educational and career goals.

Student life at MCCKC Longview makes going to school a fun and colorful experience. More than two dozen student clubs, a recreation center and a yearly literary festival are some of the highlights of Longview’s student life.

With tuition reduced for in-state students, MCCKC Longview’s cost is another attractive feature. For those who need and qualify for assistance, financial aid is also available.

Students interested in attending Metropolitan Community College can contact the admissions office for more information about admission requirements and policies.

Detailed Ratings

The school is a great way to kick off college for those who cannot afford a university. The teachers are normally flexible when it comes to work and school. I would recommend going here for perspective students, but also enroll early cause classes can fill up spontaneously.
