TAMU Description

One of the largest universities in the country, Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas, has an abundance of academic, research and student life offerings. With repeated awards to its credit, Texas A & M offers quality as well as quantity, not to mention free tuition for those from certain income brackets.

More than 50,000 students are enrolled at Texas A & M in more than 350 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Academics are offered through such distinctive divisions as:

*College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
*College of Engineering
*College of Geosciences
*College of Liberal Arts
*College of Education and Human Development

Master’s and doctoral degrees are also awarded in such areas as:

*Architecture
*Education
*Public Service
*Veterinary Medicine

With over 800 student organizations to choose from, students also have an enormous number of college life options.

The admissions department automatically admits students who meet certain criteria, such as being in the top 25% of their class and having a combined SAT score of 1300. Students who don’t meet criteria for automatic admission may still submit transcripts, SAT or ACT scores and recommendation letters for consideration.

Another great thing about Texas A & M is that they automatically offer full tuition coverage with scholarships and grants to students whose family earn below a certain income. Those outside of this income-bracket may still apply for grants and scholarships as well as student loans.
