Offering personalized training in high-demand careers as well as unusual and specialized fields, Southeast Tech in Winona, Minnesota has something for everyone.

A division of Minnesota State College, Southeast Tech offers over 80 career and academic degrees and certificates. With a primary focus on finding employment for its graduates, Southeast Tech grants a number of associate’s degrees in such marketable fields as Nursing, Medical Assisting, Radiology, Nanotechnology, Cosmetology, Biomedical Equipment Technology and Criminal Justice.

However, Southeast Tech realizes that people have varied interests and therefore also trains individuals for such alternative career paths as musical instrument repair, jewelry repair and mobile electronics installation.

Also attentive to the different scheduling needs of students, Southeast Tech offers online and hybrid courses and degrees in addition to on-site learning.

With a small student body, Southeast Tech’s classes remain small so that each student may get personalized attention.

Student activities and organizations enhance this personalized experience and contribute to student life. Groups such as the Business Professional of America, SkillsUSA, the Student Music Association, an honors organization and a club for students in sales and marketing programs help to build on what’s learned in the classroom.

Career services also promotes success, providing everything from links to over 200 websites to help with job searching and interviewing to sites concerning resume writing guidelines and resume formatting techniques. One-on-one career counseling and job fairs featuring over 120 employers are also made available.
