Our mission is to "Provide high quality instruction so that all graduates will be prepared to pass licensure exam and be responsible, accountable, and informed contributors to their health care community."
We offer a program that prepares individuals to assist in providing general nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse, physician or dentist. Includes instruction in taking patient vital signs, applying sterile dressings, patient health education and assistance with examinations and treatment.
The Otsego Area Occupational Center (OAOC) is a technical/vocational school where students are taught essential skills in many career areas. Additionally, a GED diploma program is available to adults and certain school age students. At the end of programs, students will be ready to enter the world of work and/or higher education.
We are proud of our staff members, our facilities, and our students. Employers think highly of our graduates, and we work closely with advisory committees from business and industry to be sure our programs are current and up to date.
Students and their families are welcome to come and visit the center at any time. Our staff is ready to assist you in any way possible.
