If you live in Eastern Suffolk County, New York and would like to pursue a nursing career, consider Eastern Suffolk BOCES – School of Practical Nursing your path to a new and exciting career in professional health care. The school offers two programs to adults over the age of 18 who wish to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Students can choose between an 11-month, full-time day program or a 17-month, part-time evening program. Both nursing programs prepare students to take the NY State Practical Nursing Exam after graduation.
Eastern Suffolk BOCES – School of Practical Nursing provides an effective curriculum that combines academics and hands-on training. Students learn all levels of patient care and earn practical experience at local healthcare facilities. Graduates may go on to become a licensed practical nurse or pursue advanced college training.
