Award Beauty School

Award Beauty School offers stellar cosmetology programs for the most ambitious students in the Hagerstown, Maryland area. Students are able to learn and build new skills for a lifelong career in cosmetology.

Award Beauty offers two programs for students to choose from. The Cosmetology program offers the most extensive and comprehensive educational and training program. Students learn to build their skills in haircutting, hair styling, skin care and customer service. The Cosmetology program requires a minimum of 1,500 hours of instruction and training.

Students are offered the opportunity to take the Nail Technician program by itself or in combination with the Cosmetology program. Students learn to master the art of nail maintenance and beautification in this program, which requires 250 hours of training.

Students can expect to spend much of their time in hands-on training under the supervision of an instructor. Students are able to receive the attention they need to build on their skills by practicing on actual customers with guidance from their instructors.

Eligible students may consult with a financial aid advisor for help in applying for the various forms of financial aid available.
